This video pretty much sums up the 2 most competitive EV makers in near future.
Both Tesla and Nio are having 2 separate business models. 

Nio is having a competitive advantage with their battery swapping concept which only require 3 minutes to "charge" from 0% to 100% which is insane.

Tesla, on the other hand, which has a leading technology on its autopilot function and gigafactory production maximisation would definitely remains as the leading player in this EV sector.

While the success of Nio or Tesla would be largely depending on China government policy, no doubt EV market is definitely going to revolutionalize the whole automotive industry.
The current ongoing supercycle boom in commodities especially nickel and tin is the best reflection of the future prospect of the whole EV car industry due to the high demands for car batteries.

MSC as one of the top 3 tin smelter in the world is definitely one of the beneficiaries as tin is used widely across industries which include electric vehicles as well.

Which other companies in Malaysia will benefit from this EV or commodities boom? Maybe by thinking how would the batteries be charged, you would have an idea.
